Babylonstoren Farm, Stellenbosch
This working farm is one of the oldest Cape Dutch Farms in South Africa. It has 8 acres of fruit and vegetable gardens, farm-to-fork restaurants and a luxurious hotel. This hotel has continued with the iconic Cape Dutch style inside, with thick whitewashed walls and classic furnishings. To preserve the authentic yet modern feel, a number of the bathrooms have Victoria and Albert Cheshire baths. These gorgeous freestanding baths are perfect for soaking away the day, especially in the stunning farmhouse suites.

The Oyster Box Presidential Suite, Umhlanga
When talking about luxury, it’s impossible to leave out the jewel of the KZN coast, our very own Oyster Box. The Presidential Suite takes opulence to the next level. This double story suite has a private dining room, bar, plunge pool, and a baby grand piano. It has played host to guests that include members of Royal families. The two bedrooms each have their own bathrooms where you can relax in an antique marble bath and take in panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Lion Sands Treehouses, Sabi Sands Game Reserve
From a luxury hotel in Umhlanga to a treehouse on the edge of the Kruger National Park, South Africa really proves that a stunning bathroom can be built anywhere! The Lion Sands lodge has three treehouses, with Kingston Treehouse being the most spectacular. This is our first shower with a view as the floor to ceiling glass windows wrap around the entire treehouse, including the bathroom, providing unrivalled views of the African bush.

The Silo Hotel, Cape Town
Did you know Cape Town has one of the most Instagrammed bathrooms in the world? This incredible bathroom is in one of the Deluxe Superior Suites and is the perfect setting for your next bathroom selfie, with the mother city stretching out beyond the windows.

Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge, North West Province
Each of the ten suites at Madikwe Hills has an ultra-luxurious bathroom with a deep tub and fold back windows. You can wash off the game drive dust while taking in the beauty of the African bush. For the more adventurous, each suite has an outdoor shower. The honeymoon suite takes this one step further with a tub built into a well-concealed outdoor corner for secluded soaks under African skies.

Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge, Pilanesberg
Lie back and relax in a bubble bath, sip on some champagne and watch the wildlife of the Pilanesberg bush pass by your window in this gorgeous bathroom. This bath with a view is complemented by the massive windows allowing panoramic views of your surroundings.
